Happy New year! I suppose this is the time of year where I trade posting cookie recipes for health food.  Womp, womp.  New Year’s resolutions are in full force with me and I even joined a diet bet with some friends (never heard of diet bet?  It is an app where you and a group can do a challenge to win money if you reach a weight loss goal.  Winners split the pot. I am just trying to not lose money!).  I signed up for Weight Watchers and hope to go full force and hopefully lose the 7-8 lbs of baby weight that never went away (19 months later).

Without further adieu, here is my go to lunch recipe.  It is surprisingly filling although I do often have a light snack a couple hours later.

Ingredients:
1 cup of ice
1 cup of Almond Milk
1 Scoop of Garden of Life Raw Fit Vanilla powder
1 cup of strawberries (cut)
1/2 cup of non-fat greek yogurt (to reduce chalkiness of powder)

Steps (this is SO easy that I feel silly writing it out):
1. Cut tops off strawberries
2. Put ingredients in the Nutribullet (or blender).
4. Blend for 30 seconds or so
5. Pour into your glass and enjoy!!!

For any other fellow Weight Watchers members, the smoothie is 4 points if you do without the greek yogurt and 5 points with!
