This Stitch Fix review is LONG overdue! This will be the 9th fix I’ve blogged but this is actually the 19th fix I’ve received! Eek! As you know from my moving post, we moved recently and our new house is insanely dark. I still haven’t figured out a spot and time where the lightning is decent so you have to excuse my boring, driver’s license-esque pictures!
That being said, I LOVE with Lisa picked for me this fix! She has been my stylist for a year and a half now and she truly seems to get my style. For this fix, I asked for a couple dresses that I could wear during the day but also transition to date night pieces, shorts with a 3″ inseam and a couple tops that could either be dressed down for my stay at home mom lifestyle or dressed up for meeting friends/going out. Here is what she sent:
Q&A Jacquie Dress – The material, length and comfort of this dress is awesome! Still, the floral print and bows are not my style and a little too country-ish for me. Sadly, this one is being sent back.
Verdict: Returned
Dear John Finnegan Cuffed Shorts and Skies Are Blue Mickie Embroidery Detail Top – I had pinned a pair of Dear John printed shorts and unfortunately, Lisa said they were not in stock but this pair was. They are SO comfy and the quality seems great. They are perfect for my stay at home mom life! The size she sent is a bit big and I can see them stretching out as the day goes on so I am exchanging for a smaller size. I had pinned the Skies Are Blue top and I am in LOVE!!!! It is lightweight and comfortable- exactly what I was looking for!
Verdict: Kept both but exchanged the shorts for a different size
Loveapella Zola Knit Dress- I was excited to try this one on since I love the color! The material is thicker and you can tell it is really well made. I was surprised that although it is a somewhat clingy dress, it is incredibly flattering! It would be PERFECT for work attire. Still, I don’t think I would get much use out of it and I hate buying things just for the sake of buying.
Verdict: Returned
Alice Blue Tira Cold Shoulder Ruffle Top- I was really hoping I would like this one but I don’t…I love it!!!! It is so comfortable and flattering. I especially love that it is casual enough that I can wear it day to day yet I can throw on a necklace and pair with cute shoes to wear it on a date night! Lisa- you did good!
Verdict: Kept
So there you go! Another successful
Stitch Fix! I am still in pursuit of some summery dresses and will definitely request more in my next fix. Hopefully I will have my act together and blog my next one for you all!
