One of my favorite things about Stitch Fix is that you often receive pieces that take you out out of your comfort zone.  In fix #1, I received the Skies are Blue Caine Open Cardigan.  It is an Aztec print that I would never pick out for myself but it has turned out to be one of my favorite pieces in my wardrobe!  In fix #2, I was sure I would hate the Sweet Romeo Altona Open Drape Cardigan but I absolutely loved it!  This fix, I was crossing my fingers for that wild card that would end up being a keeper.  Unfortunately some of the styles were a little too out there for me and this fix was mostly a miss.

Still, who doesn’t love getting a surprise package of clothes in the mail?!  Let’s get started with the fun!  Here’s what I got:

Coffeeshop Sarah Quilted Jacket w/Faux Fur Collar Lining- I asked for a lightweight jacket in this fix.  This jacket has a very flattering shape and super comfy fur lining the collar.  Although it is lightweight, it is still warm and would carry through to early winter well.  Unfortunately, I am not a navy kind of girl and although this jacket pushes my style, I don’t think I love it enough to keep it.
Verdict: Returned

41Hawthorn Milan Lace Print Back Pleat Blouse- I was on the hunt for a dressier date night top and this one delivered.  I love the material and how flowy and elegant it is.  I paired it with a pair of my favorite LuLaRoe leggings and a longer necklace.  I can’t wait to wear it out on a date with my husband! Hint, hint, Alex!
Verdict- Kept

Just Black Dean Skinny Jean- In my previous fixes, I have only received tops and one scarf mainly because I am so picky when it comes to bottoms.  I have heard great things about Stitch Fix jeans and decided to suck it up and ask for a pair.   I told my stylist in my note “I am taking a leap of faith and asking for one amazing pair of skinny jeans!”  I love the color and the zipper detail on the ankles but I am totally undecided about the fit.  I want to love them because finding jeans in the right length when you are 5’3 is difficult but I don’t know if they are completely flattering.  I paired them with the Corinna Dolman top from Fix #1 and my favorite ballet flats.
 Verdict: Undecided- Help me!

Brixon Ivy Fallon Mixed Print Sleeveless Blouse- I also asked for a top with a print but “not too busy.”  My stylist sent this top and I am assuming that our definitions of “busy” must be different.  While the material is super soft and I love the neckline, the print is completely not my style.
Verdict: Returned

41Hawthorn Colibri Solid Tab Sleeve Blouse-  In my note, I mentioned needing a longer top that I could pair with leggings because I wear them 4 out of 5 days a week.  My stylist sent this top.  I will be honest.  I am a bit stumped by her selection.  It is VERY similar in color, style and material to the Daniel Rainn blouse in Fix #2 that I didn’t like at all. I had expressed the reasons I didn’t like that top in my feedback after that fix and on my Pinterest board so I am not sure if she didn’t actually read my feedback or thought this one was different enough.  Either way, it is still not my style and I don’t think it flattered me at all.  As a stay at home mom, the material is much dressier than I am wearing these days and I felt like the baggy style aged me.
 Verdict- Returned

That is it!  This fix is either a 1/5 or 2/5, depending on if I decide to keep the jeans, which is disappointing because my first 2 fixes were solid 3/5’s.  What should I do about the skinny jeans!?  Comment below if I should keep or return.

Since this fix was mostly a miss, stay tuned because I am going to do a redo fix in a couple weeks!
