I am a summer and warm weather kind of girl so living in the northeast, I get bummed once the weather starts turning chilly.  Clearly the only way to cheer myself up is by purchasing a new fall wardrobe!  I’ve posted a lot of what I have purchased from Nordstrom, Amazon and Target in my Facebook group (and in my “Shop my Closet” blog post!) but I also decided to schedule a “pick me up” Stitch Fix! Make sure to read to the end of this post because there is a MEGA Giveaway for you all!!!!!

I asked my stylist for transitional pieces with an edge.  I have mentioned in my past couple notes to her that I feel like I am in a boring, mom-rut in terms of my fashion and I would like pieces to help me feel good about myself.  Weeeelllll…..she delivered and I am SO excited to share this fix with you all!
Fate Rowen Faux Leather Quilted Vest- I am admittedly not a vest kind of girl but I LOVE this one!!!  It is extremely comfortable and flattering to boot.  I paired it with a Merona Basic Tee from Target and Hue Denim Leggings from Amazon.  It makes the perfect fall outfit and I can see myself getting lots of wear out of it!
Verdict: Kept

LNA Tamara Cut Out Knit Top-  This top is funky and just the type of top I was looking to spice up my wardrobe.  It would be perfect for a date night or a night out with friends.  Still, I didn’t feel it was entirely flattering on me and I have SO many grey/black/white tops that it didn’t do much for my wardrobe.
Verdict: Returned

Central Park West Rorsay Cold Shoulder Sweater & AG The Legging Scissor Hem Skinny Jean- When I initially “peeked” at my fix on the way in the Stitch Fix app, I was unsure about the sweater.  However, when I put it on I.was.in.love.  It is SO comfy and flattering!  The pants are from the Stitch Fix Luxe line so they are pricey but so, so worth it.  I’d much prefer to pay a little more for a good pair of pants that will last for years.
Verdict- Kept Both!

En Creme Tarsa Cargo Jacket- I requested a lightweight jacket and pinned a few like this to my Pinterest board.  I was excited to try this one on.  I paired it with my Hue Denim Leggings and Hunter Boots for the perfect school drop off outfit!  My concern with the jacket was there is no hood on it and it is a tad shorter than I’d prefer.  I do love that it as a tie to cinch the waist and add some shape to my body.
Verdict: Returned

I LOVED this fix- my stylist nailed my style and although I am returning a couple pieces, it is mainly due to small issues with fit.  I cannot wait to schedule my next fix and share it with you all!
Not familiar with Stitch Fix?  Here’s how it works…
You receive 5 items picked by a personal stylist based on a style profile you complete and Pinterest style board. You keep what you want and return the pieces you don’t.  It is $20 to try it, but if you buy something they apply the $20 to your order. It is not a subscription service- you can schedule boxes whenever you want or you can sign up to get them automatically delivered monthly. If you want to try it (warning: you may become obsessed like me!), use my referral link and we will be best friends!
