This is going to be a throwback post because some things have changed since I originally decorated Ryan’s nursery but I did a post showing you all Ava’s so it is only fair he gets one, too. Plus, their rooms are my favorite spots in my home probably because I put so much thought into them.
Ok….how cute was my little guy in his crib?!? He was about 8 months here. Time sure does fly!
Now that I have wiped the nostalgic tears from my eyes, back to the nursery. I wanted a very simple design a navy and white color scheme. The room came together little by little over the course of my pregnancy and was done just in time for his arrival. Here is the finished product taken when he was about 7 months old.
When spending one of many hours pouring over Pinterest for the perfect nursery, I saw the idea to do a map decal on the wall and I was sold. Alex and I love travel and it would be perfect for our baby boy! I decided to pair it with the Dr. Seuss “Oh the Place You’ll go” quote and that become the focal point of the room.
