Fall is here and although I am a summer girl at heart, decorating in fall colors is pretty darn fun!  With pumpkins to be picked, Thanksgiving meals to be eaten and a million other festive events going on, it often means opening up your home to guests upon guests.  This can be challenging when you are renovating a home like we are but thankfully Walmart has made it easy (and affordable) to make my home guest ready!

With no dedicated guest room at the moment, we set up our office as a makeshift guest room when we have people stay for the night.  Our queen size Coleman air mattress is surprisingly comfy and I am absolutely obsessed with the Martex Super Soft Fleece Blanket that I ordered in dusty blue.

I also ordered a basket that I stock with a set of guest towels (pictured is the Mainstays Textured Performance Cotton Bath Set – 6 Piece Set) and toiletries.  We are limited on storage in the guest bath so it is perfect for placing in the corner of the room.  I store it in an upstairs closet when we dont need it.

While I was browsing items for my guest room, I went down the decor rabbit hole because Walmart has more than just the functional stuff – they have tons of cute home items that fit your style and budget.  I couldn’t help myself but purchase this entire couch set up of burnt orange throw pillows, a burlap “family” pillow and yellow throw.  There is an entire section dedicated to “Shop your Style” where you can choose different home decor styles.   I am terrible at putting things together so when I saw these next to each other, I had to buy the ensemble!
