I never how incredibly hard it is to part with my children’s things once they outgrow them. I always go back to thinking about picking out that outfit or putting together that toy with excitement. Realizing that they have moved on is bittersweet. Perhaps some of my most treasured, sentimental items from my kids are the items from when they were newborns. Thanks to Pinterest, I got the idea to make DIY Shadow boxes with Ava and Ryan’s coming home outfits, hospital blankets, hats, bracelets and crib cards. They were super easy to do and I hung them along side their birth announcements.
Artifacts from hospital (I used their coming home outfits, hat, blanket, hospital bracelet and crib card)
The the board at the back of the shadow box is backed with foam so all you do is attach each item to the board with a pin. I started with the paper, then laid the blanket. After that I did the outfit and hat and finally the bracelet and crib card. It took me all of 30 minutes!

Amazon fashion rec! I was sent some Amazon brand clothes and am blown away by how much I love this puffer coat-> amzn.to/3zASlNm !!! Even better, it is just $39! It is lightweight, so perfect for fall or milder winter days (and perfect for those chilly mornings in January here in Orlando...yes, it gets down to the 30's overnight at times)!
