I have been doing Stitch Fix for myself for almost 3 years now so I was psyched when Stitch Fix reached out to see if I wanted to test out their kids’ service! If you are not familiar with Stitch Fix, it is a personal styling service- You receive 5 items picked by a personal stylist based on a style profile you complete and Pinterest style board. You keep what you want and return the pieces you don’t.

I started out by filling out a style profile for Ava.  It had basic questions such as her age, size, height/weight (didn’t know her height so I left it blank) but also had me pick out “looks” that fit her style, fabrics/patterns to avoid and more!

You then write a note to the stylist with what we were looking for in her fix.  I asked for an outfit for soccer, some dresses and clothes to run around and play in.  I then scheduled the fix and we waited for it to arrive!

I get excited for my own fixes and it was actually equally as fun when Ava’s arrived!  The box is decorated with bright colors and even had a sheet with stickers in it for her to play with!

Here is what her note said:

Here is Ava’s very first Stitch Fix!!!
The prices were actually really reasonable- they ranged from $14-$16 for shirts and shorts to $22-$28 for dresses.  You get a 25% discount on everything if you keep it all!  Brands included Under Armour, Rumi + Ryder and Hanna Anderson (plus others)!

Here are some of my favorites:
Under Armour Keton Tee & Maddie Shorts
Chenault Girl Unicorn Swing Tee & Design History Cameron Lace Shorts
Hanna Andersson Skater Dress
Capelli Zoe Velcro Sneakers

What did we keep?
In the end, we kept the Under Armour outfit, shoes (I mean, come on! They were too cute), unicorn tee and Hanna Andersson dress.  I wanted her to love the lace shorts but a 3 year old and lace did not mix.

Would I do it again?
Ava loved getting mail and the clothes were surprisingly reasonably priced so I am planning on scheduling another box for the fall!  Ryan, my 5 year old, wanted in on the action so I ordered him a box, too!  Stay tuned for that review!

Want to try it for yourself?
Sign up here then you will be directed to fill out the style profile.  It is $20 to try it, but if you buy something they apply the $20 to your order. It is not a subscription service- you can schedule boxes whenever you want or you can sign up to get them automatically delivered monthly.  If you would rather get in on the action and schedule a fix for yourself, you can do so here!
